Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine the chopped apples, honey, arrowroot starch, lemon juice and spices together and mix well.
  2. Grease a square 9x9" or equivalent baking dish and pour apple mixture into prepared dish.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients except the yogurt and butter. Add the yogurt and melted butter and stir until the flour is incorporated and the mixture is moistened throughout.
  4. Dollop spoonfuls of the oat mixture over the filling and use your fingers to break up the mixture until it is evenly distributed over the apple mixture.
  5. Bake for about 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is bubbling around the edges and the top is golden brown. Let the crisp rest for about 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve with a dollop of vanilla ice cream, sprinkled with a bit of cinnamon.
