Cooking Classes

Let’s face it, the last thing I want to think about when I return home from work or just being out and about all day, is dinner.  It takes time to plan a menu, figure out what you need to purchase, navigate the grocery aisles (especially with all the COVID stuff going on), and then set aside time to prepare the food.  And if you’re lucky, you’ll even use everything you bought before it turns green and grows legs and crawls to the back of the fridge!

Ugh….What am I going to do about dinner?

I know that not everyone enjoys the therapeutic value of cooking like I do.  Yeah, you heard that right.  It can be very therapeutic if you set the mood for it.  I put some uplifting music on, get all of my things out and enjoy the ambiance.  But what about those of you who don’t like cooking?  It’s important for you to have a plan!  You need some delicious recipes that are easy and quick.  Those of you who know me knows that I am all about speed and flavor.  The less time I spend in the kitchen, the better!  I have trusted recipes that are healthy, colorful and flavorful.  If I can “dump and go,” all the better!  We’ll make your cooking experience fun and exciting because you will learn to enjoy the full experience of preparing nutritious foods at home.

The whole process of cooking meals can be made much simpler when you know the shortcuts and when you have the right tools in all the right places.  Once you get things set up, it’s a piece of cake.  Really!

Ask yourself…

  • Can I learn to make the time to prepare even the simplest meals in my kitchen?
  • Am I ready to save money and learn how to cook few ingredient, nutritious dishes?
  • Am I wanting my children to learn how to make healthy food choices and even help me in the kitchen?
  • Do I want to eat healthier but not sure where to start?
  • Can I set aside a little time each week to search for healthy, up to date recipes?
  • Am I ready to explore the wonderful world of whole food, plant-based meals?

If you said yes to any or all of these questions, then you’re in the right place!  Now, more than ever, we are needing to read more labels, select foods more carefully and create meals that are budget-friendly and fast to prepare.   Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.  I love to share my love of cooking and all the tips I’ve learned over the years with others.  After all, I’ve been cooking for….well….a long time.  🙂  See what’s happening locally on our events calendar or check out our recipes.
