What is Gluten-Free Lifestyle Coaching?
A Gluten-Free Lifestyle Coach guides and supports people as they begin their journey eliminating wheat from their daily diets. We know this process appears nearly impossible because of wheat’s addictive nature. It has been genetically modified for decades to stimulate endorphins in the brain and increase appetite. This viscous cycle causes weight gain, fatigue, brain fog and a host of other problems that affect every cell and organ in the human body. So in other words, the more you eat wheat, the more you want. And the more you want, the more the body begins to protest! But now you can successfully life a gluten-free lifestyle easily and enjoy the benefits.
My name is Cathy Dick and I am Certified Gluten Practitioner (CGP) with the desire to help you learn how to navigate the world without wheat products. It’s not as difficult as you may think! Your body will quickly learn to crave real, whole foods. Really! It will also help your body begin the healing process. Things like inflammation, fatigue, joint pain and skin problems will begin to heal. Best of all, you will enjoy life again!

What can I expect?
My job is to help you clarify the reason WHY you want to remove wheat from your diet, thereby motivating your desire to eat real food and less processed food. Once you commit to your new lifestyle, a whole new world of awesome and incredible food choices opens up. Unless you’re one of the adventurous types, you have only tasted a small portion of foods this world offers us.
Once you’ve been given the approval from your doctor to remove wheat, we will get started and work together for four to six months. In the beginning, your body will experience a short-lived (2-3 day) wheat withdrawal, so timing for this program is critical. For instance, you don’t want to begin the process before a holiday gathering or when you are stressing about a project deadline. Don’t worry, we’ll find the perfect timing and provide you with all the support and recipes needed for success!
